Challenge:Recognizing that more home searches start on social media, HHHunt Communities made social media a priority. HHHunt Communities engaged Commonwealth Partnerships (CWP) to revamp and manage its social media presence. Among the challenges were creating consistent and resourceful content that would encourage engagement with current and potential homeowners.
Solution: Partnering with HHHunt Communities team members, we developed a strategic social media plan that now includes Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and Google+. Our research showed that these sites were the most visited by our target markets and we believed the sites offered the best opportunity to highlight HHHunt’s communities. Additionally, we developed content that would cater to our target markets. This included information about special events at communities, tips for homeowners and home buyers, photos of homes and amenities, and events around the Richmond and Williamsburg regions. We also coordinated contests encouraging homeowners to share photos highlighting their communities’ lifestyle.
Results: The results of this campaign have exceeded all expectations. Looking at the targeted social media platforms, we’ve seen a great deal of growth since 2013. On Facebook, for example, likes increased from 372 to over 1,000, primarily through organic growth. Post engagement has increased 512% while post reach is up approximately 1,900%. All platforms have seen significant engagement growth. This social media campaign has increased awareness for HHHunt Communities and built stronger relationships, driving customer traffic to HHHunt’s communities.
