Check out this Q&A with Vera to learn more about this talented professional and the newest member of our team:
Q: Please provide a little background on your career:
A: I’ve had the pleasure to work in communications and public relations for fashion, museum, and commercial real estate industries.
Q: What are your professional passions?
A: I am passionate about delivering the best possible experience to clients through industry expertise and relationship building. Also, to continue learning – there is always something to improve or new to consider.
Q: What opportunities are you excited about?
A: I am very much looking forward to crafting exciting content for our clients! My brain is always on the go so I cannot wait to come up with creative ideas.
Q: What mistake have you learned the most from?
A: I am very much of the “I can do anything!” mindset, which typically leads to saying “yes” to a lot of things and a full plate. Over the years, I have learned the hard way to say “no” or at least ask for help when necessary. It doesn’t do any good to spread yourself too thin.
Q: What community or professional organizations are you involved in?
A: I’m a board member with the Advertising Club of Richmond. I’m also an active member of the Virginia Chapter of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Richmond Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). I enjoy volunteering on committees for ULI and PRSA too!
Q: What’s a fun fact about you?
A: I was born in Russia and moved to Virginia in 2000. I still speak Russian fluently.
